Caileigh had her surgery to place tubes in her ears. She was very nervous about it but did fine. I think being old enough to understand made it harder than when Emma was a baby and didn't know there was anything to worry about. The first 36 hours of recovery where a little hard, but she really did great. A sweet friend brought her flowers and a picture and the friend's little brother who happens to be Emma's friend brought Emma flowers and a picture too. :-) So sweet!

Summer Vacation 2014
After summer camps were over we enjoyed a long weekend with Stephen's parents where we enjoyed some quiet restful time at their home. We also were able to spend a long weekend with my parents. My uncles, aunt and cousins came one day and we enjoyed time with them in the pool. It was so nice to get away from the craziness of our lives and even be in quiet, peaceful neighborhoods with just family.

The end of July, Stephen's parents allowed us to borrow their camper and we camped at Myrtle Beach again. We were a little anxious camping with a one year old at the beach. He did great though! He loved the beach and sand. We would dig a shallow pool for him to sit and dig in and he was content. When he got tired he would get up and start to chase all the balls and frisbees other beach goers had. The girls loved playing in the waves and searching for seashells and crabs. They both enjoyed the pools too. Connor made us nervous around the pools, so most often one of us took the girls while the other stayed with Connor while he napped.
We made some fun memories and came back feeling so refreshed and with heart attitudes ready to come back and serve our neighbors well.
